I checked on Microtel web site and saw under Amenities that it was Pet Friendly - no mention of a fee. And yes they were aware that we had a pet because we changed hotels from my first choice because they didn’t allow pets. We made a reservation through a third party () and were told about a $100 refundable deposit, we were NEVER told about a $25.00 non refundable pet fee. If you want a place to stay to enhance your visit, this is not.… ![]() If all you need is a place to lay your head for one night, this will work. Masks were required but not on employees. However, tools to retrieve unwrapped muffins that everyone before & after you have all touched? And tube to reach in to get creamers out where everyone else has had their hands in? Seriously? I think they use the covid excuse to get out of spending money on real breakfast foods. Third: because of covid, breakfast had to be limited for safety. ? How does one do that when you haven’t taken any showers yet? Shower rod was falling out of walls so curtain drooped, making shower flood floor. Second: They wouldn’t give us an extra bath towel unless we returned our dirty ones in exchange. If it weren’t for all hotels booked prior to our arrival, we would’ve went elsewhere. First of all we were bait & switched by pricing, quoted cheaper price by phone, then $10.00 higher when we checked in.
